Calculator inputs and selected images

The current calculators process their inputs in your browser. The image checker and safe-zone preview read files you choose locally; the tool code does not upload those images to an AspectRatioZ server. Generated previews and downloadable outputs are created in the browser.

The tools do not require an account or use an application database to store your calculation history. The current tool code does not deliberately send calculator values, selected image contents or report descriptions as analytics events. This does not mean visiting the website produces no network traffic: pages, assets, hosting and analytics involve network requests.

Hosting and Cloudflare

AspectRatioZ is delivered through Cloudflare Workers & Pages. Delivering and protecting a website involves processing request information, which can include an IP address, requested address, browser information and request timing.

The site also uses Cloudflare analytics to understand traffic and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is described by Cloudflare as not using cookies or local storage for its usage metrics; this does not describe every Cloudflare security service or Google Analytics.

Google Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is enabled through the site's Cloudflare configuration to help understand page visits and usage. Depending on that configuration and your browser settings, Google Analytics can use cookies and collect page activity, referral, device and browser information.

Google Analytics normally uses a first-party cookie to distinguish visitors. Actual collection and retention depend on the analytics configuration; local image processing should not be interpreted as a claim that the website is cookie-free or that no usage data is collected.

Read Google's explanation of Analytics data safeguards and Analytics cookie usage. You can manage cookies through your browser and learn about the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not disable the tools' local calculations.

Issue reports and email

The report form prepares text in the current page. “Prepare report” does not send it, and “Clear report” clears the description and prepared report while retaining the tool name. “Copy report” copies the text to your clipboard when permitted by your browser.

If you choose “Open email to send”, the tool name, page address and description are passed to your email application. You must finish sending there. Report links omit the page's query string and fragment. No selected image is automatically attached.

When you send an email to info@aspectratioz.com, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards it to the site's receiving mailbox. Your email address, message and any attachments are then handled by the relevant email services and can be used to respond to or investigate your request. They are not stored in a website support-ticket database.

Retention and your choices

Local tool processing is not a server-side archive. You can clear a tool's input or close the page; downloaded files and copied clipboard text remain under your device's controls.

Email correspondence may remain in the receiving mailbox and its backups. Analytics and hosting information are subject to the relevant service settings and provider policies. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion period for those services.
