What does a 16:10 aspect ratio mean?
16:10 simplifies to 8:5 and has a decimal ratio of 1.6. It adds vertical workspace compared with 16:9 at a similar width.
1280 × 800, 1440 × 900, 1920 × 1200 and 2560 × 1600 are exact 16:10 sizes. Aspect ratio describes shape, not quality: increasing both dimensions preserves the same composition while adding pixels.
How to calculate 16:10 dimensions
