What does a 5:7 aspect ratio mean?
The width is five-sevenths of the height. Unlike 2:3 camera photos, 5:7 is a little wider in portrait orientation and often needs a modest crop from a camera original.
1000 × 1400, 1500 × 2100 and 2500 × 3500 are exact 5:7 sizes. Aspect ratio describes shape, not quality: increasing both dimensions preserves the same composition while adding pixels.
